Revisiting LAUGHTER and PLAY

I’m still healing from my trapeziectomy which means I’m typing with one hand (or rather one finger). I could use voice to text but I write better than I speak. Tomorrow my cast comes off (briefly) to view the stitches. I’m looking forward to airing out my arm and the bottom of my hand, even if only briefly.

All this to say, instead of writing a new full post I thought I’d just tidy up an old one by adding the Hebrew text into the posting, so why not a bit of…

play and laughter!

Have a click and a read. I hope it is a blessing to you.

I’m hardly able play much these days, but I can laugh about it! I will be off work for 6-8 weeks and plan to do lots of reading for my course and research for two upcoming sermons and an essay. I will continue to post every Sunday but I make no promises of a new word every week… at this point whatever shows up on Sunday will be a surprise to both of us! In the meantime I leave you with this benediction:

Isaiah 26:4

“Trust in YHWH forever, for in Yah YHWH, we have an everlasting Rock.”

בִּטְח֥וּ בַֽיהוָ֖ה עֲדֵי־עַ֑ד כִּ֚י בְּיָ֣הּ יְהוָ֔ה צ֖וּר עֹולָמִֽים

Bitkhu YHWH adey-ad, ki b-Yah YHWY tsur ohlamim
