A-Z: A Tidy-up of the Word Lists

Hello folks!

This week I thought I’d tidy up the word lists, linking the latest word studies and ensuring everything is in order. We have words from Accuser to Young… but no Z words. There weren’t zoos, or zippers, or zambonis in Biblical times. There would have been zebras, but they didn’t make the Bible’s named list of animals, as far as I can tell. By the way, as a good Canadian, I pronounce the letter Z as ZED, but I won’t hold it against you if you prefer your alphabet to rhyme at the end… unless you’re Canadian (or in anyway associated with the Commonwealth), in which case I say, “get your act together”! 😉

So, if you’ve ever wondered if a certain word has a Hebrew Word Lessons posting, you can check out the pages below:

I to Q

R to Z

If a word you want to see is missing, let me know! 2026 is coming with lots of new word possibilities!

Next week: Hanukkah!
